This is a unique opportunity to join a business delivering core capabilities for National defense. You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence.We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Engineer to design, deploy, operate, and modernize scalable IT infrastructure supporting mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in systems administration, DevSecOps, and infrastructure lifecycle management within a secure, regulated environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, operate, and maintain Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions supporting mission-critical systemsManage and sustain development, test, and production environments, ensuring availability, performance, and securitySupport the full infrastructure lifecycle, including planning, procurement, capitalization, recapitalization, and refresh of hardware and softwareCollaborate with software, security, and program teams to integrate infrastructure into DevSecOps pipelinesImplement and maintain secure system configurations in accordance with DoD, RMF, and NIST requirementsParticipate in Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including system documentation, control implementation, and auditsMonitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and lead root-cause analysis for infrastructure incidentsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating proceduresSupport technical reviews, program milestones, and customer briefings by preparing and presenting infrastructure-related materialTrack and report task progress, risks, and dependencies to the team lead or program managementContribute to continuous improvement efforts, including automation, standardization, and modernization initiativesWork collaboratively across teams to resolve technical challenges and support program deliveryEnsure compliance with security, configuration management, and change control processesOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)5+ years of experience in systems administration, information security, DevSecOps, or infrastructure engineeringDemonstrated experience procuring commercial hardware and software to support capitalization and recapitalization of IT infrastructureExperience supporting development, test, and production environmentsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to:Prepare technical documentation and presentation materialsPresent at internal and external technical reviewsProvide clear status updates on task progress and deliverablesProven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environmentAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearanceDetail orientedGood verbal and written communication skillsCandidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) concepts and environmentsFamiliarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and relevant NIST publications, including:NIST SP 800-53NIST SP 800-60NIST SP 800-161Experience supporting secure or regulated systems (DoD, IC, or federal environments)*Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.Colorado Residents: In any materials you submit, you may redact or remove age-identifying information such as age, date of birth, or dates of school attendance or graduation.
