Join us.General Summary:The Senior Software Engineer is a key technical leader within an Agile team, partnering closely with the Technical Product Owner and Principal Software Engineer to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with established architecture standards. In this role, you will contribute to the conceptualization, design, development, and delivery of features across the Total Leave portfolio, working collaboratively with business area architects to shape and advance technical solutions.A core focus of this position is supporting Unum's Total Leave teams through deep expertise in Fineos and custom Fineos development"”including hands-on configuration, Java-based enhancements, and the integration of Fineos components into Unum's broader ecosystem. You may also research and evaluate third-party and cloud technologies to drive efficient integrations and modernize solution capabilities.As a senior member of the engineering community, you will serve as a subject-matter expert across applications and technology stacks, providing technical guidance and mentorship to Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers.
