This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure in classified and sensitive environments. The ideal candidate will thrive in our centralized vision, decentralized command culture that emphasizes ownership within Agile delivery.What you'll do:Cloud Infrastructure EngineeringDesign and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures across multiple platforms based on program templates and established best practicesDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for consistent, repeatable deploymentsImplement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deliveryConfigure and optimize cloud security controls and compliance measuresDesign cloud native disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutionsTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement performance optimizationsAgile Delivery & InnovationOperate within Agile framework (participate in sprints, standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions)Collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced development cyclesAdapt to changing requirements and priorities while maintaining delivery qualityDrive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologiesAutonomous Operations & LeadershipWork independently within centralized vision framework while maintaining team alignmentProactively identify infrastructure needs and optimization opportunitiesMake technical decisions autonomously while communicating impact to stakeholdersLead by example in demonstrating ownership, accountability, and innovationMentor team members and share knowledge across the organizationDrive technical standards and best practices adoptionSecurity & ComplianceImplement and maintain security controls in cloud environmentsSupport security audits and compliance assessments for government requirementsManage encryption, key management, and access controlsMonitor infrastructure for security threats and implement remediationDevelop security documentation and operational proceduresStay current with evolving security requirements and cloud platform updatesCross-Platform IntegrationIntegrate multiple cloud platforms and hybrid environmentsDevelop solutions that leverage best capabilities across different cloud providersImplement consistent security and operational practices across platformsSupport migration initiatives and platform optimization effortsWhat you'll need:4 years of cloud engineering and infrastructure experience2 years' experience implementing secure cloud architectures for enterprise or government environmentsExperience with containerization and orchestration technologiesBonus points if you have:Experience with cloud, networking, and securityBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical fieldCompTIA Security+ (current) or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification within 6 months of onboardingAWS Solutions Architect CertificationFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practicesExperience with enterprise-scale cloud architecture design and implementationExperience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or similarExperience with container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestrationExperience with network architecture: VPC design, hybrid connectivity, security groups, load balancingIdentity and Access Management across cloud platformsCI/CD pipeline development and automationProficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languagesExperience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, etc.)Clearance:Must have an active Secret clearance; TS with SCI eligibility preferred#clearancejobsWhat We BelieveAs a company wholly dedicated to serving the US federal government, we bring together the best talent to help reinvent how federal agencies operate and deliver greater value for their mission and the American people.
