By combining real-time data, geolocation intelligence, and scalable backend systems, we deliver smarter, safer, and more connected user experiences.As we transition development fully in-house, we are seeking engineers who can quickly understand an existing codebase, contribute immediately, and help scale a high-impact product.*Position Overview*We are seeking a highly skilled *iOS Mobile Application Developer* with deep expertise in building, optimizing, and scaling native iOS applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer experienced in real-time, data-driven applications and comfortable working across both mobile and backend-integrated systems.You will work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and designers to build high-performance, intuitive mobile experiences, with a strong emphasis on clean architecture, scalability, and seamless user interaction.*Key Responsibilities** Design, build, and maintain *native iOS applications* using *Swift and Objective-C** Own iOS application architecture, performance optimization, and lifecycle management* Integrate APIs for authentication, search functionality, and real-time data synchronization* Implement *real-time communication features using WebSockets (Python-based services)** Collaborate with backend teams leveraging *Python (Django)* and *Ruby (Sinatra framework)** Lead integration and optimization of *Mapbox SDK* for navigation and geolocation features* Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality iOS interfaces using *Apple development tools (Xcode ecosystem)** Write clean, modular, and testable code aligned with iOS development best practices* Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development standards and workflows* Debug complex issues and optimize performance across devices and iOS versions* Support deployment and release cycles across development, staging, and production environments*QualificationsRequired** 4-6+ years of professional *iOS development experience** Strong proficiency in *Swift and Objective-C** Deep understanding of *iOS SDK, app lifecycle, and architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)** Experience working within the *Apple development ecosystem (Xcode, Apple frameworks/tools)** Strong experience with *API integration and mobile data handling** Hands-on experience implementing *WebSockets for real-time applications** Experience working with backend systems built in *Python (Django)** Familiarity with *Ruby (Sinatra framework)** Proven experience with *Mapbox integration* and geolocation-based features* Experience with *Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices** Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills*Preferred** Experience building *navigation, mapping, or location-based applications** Familiarity with xijylhu real-time tracking, routing, or mobility platforms* Experience with scalable systems and event-driven architectures* Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Firebase* Familiarity with DevOps workflows or containerization tools (Docker)* Prior experience in a *startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment**What We're Looking For** Engineers who can *own the iOS application end-to-end** Developers who can quickly ramp on an existing codebase and contribute immediately* Strong collaborators who work effectively across product, backend, and design teams* Individuals motivated to build and scale a *real-time, high-impact navigation platform*Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearExperience:* Ruby: 4 years (Required)* Native Mobile App Development: 3 years (Required)* Ojective-C: 4 years (Required)* Swift: 4 years (Required)* Python: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Irving, TX 75039
