Construction Estimator

As an Estimator in the Construction industry, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze data will be crucial in this role. You will be expected to provide accurate and timely estimates, and to communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the project.Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in construction estimatingStrong analytical and mathematical skillsProficiency in estimating software like HeavyBid and AgtekPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Site Development, Road & Bridge, & Concrete/Earthwork projectsCertification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsResponsibilities:Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimates xijylhu Prepare detailed estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsIdentify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expensesCollaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimatesMaintain knowledge of current market conditions and trends in the construction industry
