This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands multifamily and mixed-use operations, and takes pride in maintaining strong occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.Position OverviewThe Property Manager will be responsible for the overall operational, financial, and physical performance of multiple multifamily and mixed-use properties. The ideal candidate must be comfortable traveling between properties and commuting regularly to the office for meetings, reporting, and team coordination.A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of assigned multifamily and/or mixed-use propertiesLead and supervise on-site leasing, maintenance, and administrative staffMaintain high occupancy levels through effective leasing and marketing strategiesManage rent collections, delinquencies, and resident communicationsPrepare and manage operating budgets and monitor financial performanceCoordinate property maintenance, capital improvements, and vendor relationshipsEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulationsConduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal and asset valueProvide consistent reporting to ownership and attend xijylhu meetingsQualifications3+ years of property management experienceStrong understanding of property financials, budgeting, and reportingExperience managing multiple properties or a mid-to-large portfolioKnowledge of Connecticut landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsProficiency in property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, or similar)Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle requiredAbility to commute to the Hartford office on a regular basis
