Community Manager (Leasing + Property Management)Location: Coney Island, Brooklyn, NYAsset: 425-Unit Luxury Rental BuildingOverviewThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced on-site leasing professional to step into a Community Manager role, overseeing both leasing/marketing and day-to-day property management operations for a 425-unit luxury rental property in Coney Island.The ideal candidate is both sales-driven and operationally strong "” someone who can drive leasing velocity while ensuring the building operates at the highest standard.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.About the CompanyOur client is an established NYC-based real estate developer, owner, and operator with over 50 years in business. The firm specializes in ground-up development and long-term ownership of mixed-use assets, having completed over 1.5 million square feet and 1,500+ units across New York City.Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & MarketingDrive leasing performance to achieve and exceed occupancy and revenue goalsTour prospective residents and deliver a compelling, client-focused sales experienceNegotiate rents, concessions, and lease terms to maximize leasing velocityOversee and track all leads, advertising channels, and marketing performanceMaintain strong relationships with the brokerage communityPrepare weekly leasing reports and provide market insights and competitive analysisSupervise on-site leasing staff and establish performance expectationsProperty Management & OperationsOversee the day-to-day operations of a 425-unit luxury propertyEnsure the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive communication and serviceManage tenant relations, including renewals, complaints, and conflict resolutionMonitor and manage accounts receivable, collections, and arrears reportingCoordinate with maintenance and building staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and upkeep of common areasOversee vendor relationships, service contracts, and property inspectionsEnsure compliance with all NYC housing regulations, local laws, and safety requirementsPartner with ownership on budgeting, expense control, and operational performanceLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and manage on-site staff including leasing agents, porters, and maintenance teamsFoster a positive, accountable, and service-oriented team cultureConduct regular team meetings and performance reviewsHire, train, and develop team members as neededQualifications4+ years of NYC residential leasing and property management experience Exposure to property management operations strongly preferredCurrent New York State Real Estate Salesperson License requiredStrong understanding of the NYC rental market, trends, and competitive landscapeUnderstanding of NYC Rent Stabalization and Affordable Housing Experience managing or mentoring on-site staff is a plusProficiency with systems such as On-Site, BuildingLink, StreetEasy, and ClickPay preferredExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, polished, and client-facing demeanorBilingual (Russian or other languages) is a plusWhy This RoleThis is a growth opportunity for someone looking to transition from leasing into a broader operational leadership role. xijylhu You will gain hands-on experience managing a large-scale luxury asset while working closely with ownership.Compensation$140,000 - $150,000 base salary plus incentives, full benefits package
