You will work closely with leadership to take new product ideas from concept to production while defining engineering standards and best practices.This is a highly impactful role with ownership over core systems, infrastructure, and long-term technical direction.*Key Responsibilities** Design and scale backend systems to support high-growth, high-volume usage* Own and evolve the platform architecture to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability* Translate business needs into clear technical roadmaps in collaboration with Product, Design, and GTM teams* Establish engineering best practices, including coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and observability* Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including APIs, databases, and infrastructure tools* Lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers across teams* Rapidly prototype and iterate on new product features with a strong focus on customer impact*What We're Looking For** 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including leadership on critical projects or teams* Strong backend expertise with a focus on scalable systems and infrastructure* Deep experience with PostgreSQL at scale (schema design, performance tuning, replication, backups, and high availability)* Proven track record xijylhu of building and shipping production-grade systems in high-growth environments* Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, and modern cloud infrastructure* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and edge cases* Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring and guiding other engineers* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment*Compensation & Benefits** Base Salary: $225,000 - $285,000* Equity package* Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k)* Opportunity to work on core platform systems in a rapidly scaling companyPay: $225,000.00 - $285,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
