We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Schaumburg headquarters and help maintain the financial integrity that has earned us the BBB Torch Award for Ethics.Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.Role OverviewAs the Senior AP Specialist, you will oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring total accuracy and efficiency within our Ramp and Sage ecosystems. You will play a critical role in maintaining financial data integrity across platforms, managing high-level vendor relationships, and leading process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle AP Management: Oversee end-to-end invoice processing in Sage, ensuring accurate GL coding, 3-way matching, and timely approvals.Platform Synchronization: Monitor and reconcile the data flow between Ramp and Sage to ensure vendor records and payment statuses remain consistent.Payment Execution: Manage weekly payment runs (ACH, Wire, Check) and optimize vendor payment terms within the ERP to support cash flow.Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and partner with Sales/Operations teams to resolve PO discrepancies originating in Salesforce.Audit & Compliance: Lead the month-end closing process for AP, perform monthly Sage sub-ledger reconciliations, and manage annual 1099 reporting.Process Automation: Identify opportunities to better utilize Ramp-to-Sage integrations to reduce manual data entry and human error.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of progressive AP experience in a high-growth environment.ERP Mastery: Proven experience working within the Ramp and Sage ecosystem (e.g., Sage Intacct, Sage 100, or Sage 300). Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience with AP automation tools (e.g., , Stampli, or Sage AP Automation).Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to troubleshoot synchronization errors between Ramp and Sage.Employment RequirementsWork Authorization: U.S. Waterproofing is an E-Verify employer.Screening: This position requires a post-offer, pre-employment background check.Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year (Final offer based on experience and qualifications).Other Compensation: This position is not eligible for bonus, commission, or incentive pay.Insurance: Health insurance (available 1st of the month after 60 days); Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance; Supplemental options (Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity).Retirement: 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match and immediate vesting.Time Off: Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays.Pay Cycle: Weekly Pay.Environment: On-site at our state-of-the-art Schaumburg headquarters.Ready to bring your financial expertise to an industry leader?
