Full-time, Exempt**Job Summary:*The Junior Software Developer will work as a key team member in the Software Development department, assisting with all functions of software coding and design. Focus areas for the Junior Software Developer include learning existing code projects, gathering user data, and responding to request from management.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Assisting Software Development Manager with software design and coding* Learning existing code projects and improving coding skills* Writing and maintaining code* Working on minor fixes to existing code* Responding to development requests from management* Deploy software and technology to internal users and systems* Keep all systems current through software deployment* Gathering information from user regarding program functionality* Conducting development tests* Perform other duties as required and assigned*Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:** 2-year degree or 1-3 years equivalent work experience; bachelor's degree a plus* Knowledge of basic coding languages including Visual Basic, C++ and HTML* Knowledge of databases and operating systems* Working knowledge configuring, troubleshooting, supporting remote users* Knowledge of MS Office products* Experience in MS SharePoint a plus*Success Factors and Competencies:** Must be able to meet deadlines, & work within a team. xijylhu * Detail-oriented* Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks quickly* Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills* General experience with supporting users in a remote desktop environment* Must be able to analyze and resolve problems related to software*Physical Requirements:** Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards* Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.* Must be able to listen and speak clearly on telephone and in face-to-face conversations* Work outside of normal business hours will be required from time to timeJob Type: Full-timePay: $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k) 3% Match* AD&D insurance* Bereavement leave* Dental insurance* Dependent health insurance coverage* Disability insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid holidays* Paid time off* Prescription drug insurance* Referral program* Vision insurance* Wellness programExperience:* Computer skills: 3 years (Required)Work Location: In person
