Senior VoIP Engineer

We are currently seeking a *Senior Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Engineer*. *An active Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance is required.* This position is contract and will last approximately six months. Candidates must be United States Citizens and be local to the Arlington, VA region. Candidates must be able to attend two to three trips to Los Angeles and/or Seattle during their employment. A Bachelor's Degree focused in a STEM field is also required.Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.*Job Summary:*We are seeking a Senior Secure Voice Engineer to help develop and scale a classified Voice over IP (VoIP) environment, supporting secure voice infrastructure and telecommunications connectivity across mission partners and multiple sites.? This role includes close coordination with internal/external stakeholders and may include serving as an Alternate Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian while ensuring strong accountability and compliance across COMSEC accounts and activities.?*Responsibilities:** Coordinate SCIF/closed-area telecommunications and VoIP infrastructure development with key stakeholders.?* Support Facility Security Officer (FSO) requirements related to SCIF design for the government sponsor.?* Use OSI model knowledge to troubleshoot and develop secure vIPer connectivity.?* Administer vIPer phones: perform software upgrades, device keying, programming, and DID range association.?* Install vIPer phones and monitor rekey activities.?* Troubleshoot V.150 protocol issues to establish secure connectivity.?* Develop runbooks with detailed steps for recurring technical tasks and train partner teams for ad-hoc support needs.?* Maintain 100% accountability for COMSEC items; provide oversight across multiple COMSEC accounts/local elements at multiple sites.?* Perform backups, system upgrades, reconciliations, and inventories of COMSEC material.?* Use and maintain common fill devices (KIK, SKL, SDS) and prepare/ship COMSEC material per mission partner policies.?* Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to support information security programs.?*Required Qualifications:** U.S. Citizenship.* Over two years of COMSEC experience as a Primary or Alternate COMSEC Custodian.?* Extensive experience implementing vIPer phones.?* Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. xijylhu * Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance?*Preferred Qualifications:** TS/SCI Clearance Preferred* Over four years of COMSEC experience, focused on vIPer connectivity engineering.?* Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences (including executive stakeholders).?* Experience developing/interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing COMSEC program planning and execution.?* Experience providing technical guidance on secure voice products and developing SOPs for COMSEC actions (e.g., annual rekey, vIPer upgrades, STE use).?* Master's Degree*Additional Details:** Position Type: Contract (6 months PoP with possible extension based on need)* Experience Level: Senior Level* Focus: TS/SCI Required, specific COMSEC experience is a must (please look at JD)* Location: Arlington, VA* Travel: Mid (2-3 Trips to LA/Seattle)#indJob Type: ContractPay: $140,000.00 - $220,000.00 per yearEducation:* Bachelor's (Required)Experience:* COMSEC: 2 years (Required)Location:* Arlington, VA 22201 (Preferred)Security clearance:* Top Secret (Required)Ability to Commute:* Arlington, VA 22201 (Required)Willingness to travel:* 25% (Required)Work Location: In person
