Projects will entail execution of scientific, engineering and technical services required for the design, development, integration, test, fleet implementation and maintenance of training simulation systems. This position offers the opportunities for supporting full-stack software development on leading edge Navy Combat System Training Systems. Efforts include all phases of the software development life-cycle conducted via an Agile Kanban software development process. *Our current focused hiring need is for those with capabilities and experience in React and Angular*, but our systems make use of multiple languages including Javascript/Typescript, C++, Java, Scala, Rust, Go, and Python, as well as tools including Gradle, Podman, and Docker.*RESPONSIBILITIES** Analyze technology/capability gaps; research, develop, and deploy software solutions within our Agile Kanban software development process* Work with project leads to define sprints and associated deliverables* Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code* Conduct integration, test, bug fixes, and other software maintenance activities* Assist in the creation of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed software*SALARY NOTES*The salary range posted covers all levels of experience and capability for software engineers and is not specific to this posted position.
