(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Needham, MA and Edison, NJ.ResponsibilitiesPerform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design, and remedial operationsCoordination and presentation of planning & design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agenciesPerform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditionsSupervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering servicesComplete and review planning documents and design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specificationsProvide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during projectsUtilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the regionAssist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting servicesAttend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firmMentor and develop junior engineering staffQualificationsBachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Science10+ years' experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental ConsultingNY PE or PG PreferredAbility to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientistsUnderstanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and consistently meet deadlines Our Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
