Overview: The Quality Manager will plan, organize, and implement the MasTec Industrial Quality Program during the execution of construction projects.While professional experience and qualifications etc.)Support and lead additional quality practices including, but not limited to, Quality audits, Craft observations, and Quality Leadership Team Meetings (QLTs)Ensure Quality metrics are compiled and submitted weekly (e.g., repair rates, Nonconformance metrics, testing metrics)Participate in stretch /flex and morning gang box meetingsEnsure subcontractor kickoff meetings are being held for each activity onsite to discuss Quality requirements, inspection activities, and any contract or MasTec Industrial specified hold pointsImplement and promote stop work authority with employees, including for all stop work of Quality related eventsFunction as one of the key Project Leaders on the projectProvide on the job training to Quality managers, Quality Inspectors, and Operations personnelEnsure implementation of project employee training programsManage direct reports as applicable, including Quality Inspectors, Administrative personnel, and site Survey teamsParticipate in the reviewing and with other leaders within the organization and project teams towards goals of continuous improvementQualifications: EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:~10+ years of industrial construction experience, with at least 5 years in a dedicated Quality Assurance/Quality Control role on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, energy, or heavy civil projects.~ Must hold a state-level journeyman license or master electrician license or demonstrate proof of previously holding electrical licenses~ Prior proven experience leading projects and teams in an Industrial setting~ Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Point~ Demonstrated experience with construction management software platforms~ Proven experience developing or implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and managing progressive turnover/closeout documentation.~ Experience working in a self-perform, multi-craft environment (structural, mechanical, electrical, welding, piping, civil).~ Demonstrated experience leading or supervising Quality Inspectors or field quality personnel.~ Prior involvement in constructability reviews, task planning, and supporting project execution teams.~ Experience managing Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and conducting or supporting incident investigations.~ Preferred experience with Smartsheet and InEight softwareBe knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.Write reports, business correspondence and document quality related issues and activitiesEffectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers and the general publicEffectively communicate and develop positive working relationships with the owner, owner's representative, and the Company's site supervision, in order to facilitate the quality objectivesWork independently and productively, ensuring the resources skills for addressing Quality and Safety issues with both internal and external partiesWork up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.Uncontrolled
