Hourly Pay Range:Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.$46.79 - $72.52 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: EMS, ManagerLocation: Edward Hospital, Naperville, ILFull Time: 40 hours per weekHours: Monday-Friday; 8am-4:30pm.What you will do:Provides leadership and oversight for the delivery of high-quality patient care across nursing units and EMS/pre-hospital personnel, including collaboration with local fire departmentsLeads all aspects of talent management, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and corrective action as neededDevelops and manages capital and operating budgets in partnership with the Administrative Director of Emergency Services; monitors financial performance and addresses variancesEstablishes and executes strategic plans and operational goals for the EMS system; mentors staff in achieving departmental objectivesOversees the development, implementation, and compliance of EMS policies and procedures; evaluates and approves recommended changesDirects department-wide programs, including initial training, continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and certification/recertification processes; participates in disaster preparedness planningServes as a subject matter expert to staff, providing guidance on complex patient care, operational, and customer service issuesMaintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends through ongoing education, literature review, and professional development activitiesBuilds and sustains strong partnerships with hospital leadership, EMS agencies, regulatory bodies, and local fire departments to enhance coordination, compliance, and community relationsWhat you will need:Education: Bachelor?s degree in a health-related field required; Master?s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or Nursing preferredCertification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) and/or EMT-Paramedic licensure required CEN, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, ECRN, PHTLS/ITLS, and Illinois Lead Instructor certification preferredExperience: Minimum of three years of hospital-based experience with demonstrated knowledge of EMS and hospital operationsUnique or Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of EMS systems and hospital operations, with the ability to effectively collaborate across pre-hospital and clinical teams in a fast-paced environmentBenefits (For full time or part time positions):Opportunity for annual increases based on performanceCareer Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and DevelopmentVarious Medical, Dental, Pet and Vision optionsTuition ReimbursementFree ParkingWellness Program Savings PlanHealth Savings Account OptionsRetirement Options with Company MatchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayCommunity Involvement OpportunitiesEndeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
