Network Engineer - Level 3Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)   clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to be considered.Cherokee Preting is seeking a Network Engineer to support our government client.Compensation & Benefits:Estimated starting salary: $155,000-$165,000. Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Network Engineer - Level 3 Responsibilities Include:Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop network requirements specificationsGuides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studiesAnalyzes network requirements and capacity and leads design and development activitiesProvides technical leadership for the integration of network requirements, design, and technologyIncorporates new network plans, designs and systems into ongoing operationsDevelops network architecture and network design documentationGuides network development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of network engineering management plans and network integration and test plansDesign and perform integration of new technologies into local and wide area networksProvide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network problemsManage the transition and migration of networks and development of network addressing schemesInteracts with the Government regarding Network Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflictsUltimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Network Engineering area of responsibilityCommunicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executivesPerforms other job-related duties as assignedNetwork Engineer - Level 3 Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:Current Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible and willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraphMust meet one of the following: High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of relevant experienceAssociate's degree and 8 years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experienceMaster's degree and 4 years of relevant experiencePhD and 2 years of relevant experienceCurrent IAT II Compliant CertificationThorough knowledge of DoD Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) and Intelligence Community (IC) standards, processes, and major programsKnowledge of DoD and IC Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), and tactical communicationsKnowledge of major intelligence databases, data needs, and web-based servicesMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee FederalCompany Information:Cherokee Preting (Preting) is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
