We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in Bay City, Michigan, covering inpatient GI services with a predictable weekday call schedule.The client is open to higher rates for qualified candidates with ERCP experience.Assignment Overview Locum GI coverage through March-December 2026 24-hour call coverage, Monday-Thursday Friday coverage: 7am-7pm No weekend call Inpatient GI coverage with hospitalist support ERCP required GI clinic located less than ½ mile from the hospital 2 colorectal surgeons available in the community Schedule Snapshot Monday-Thursday: 7am-7am (24-hour call) Friday: 7am-7pm (12-hour coverage) Select coverage blocks available in: March 2026 July 2026 September-October 2026 December 2026 - January 2027 Travel & Lodging Hotel + car + fuel Candidate Requirements Board Certified (Truly BE may be considered) Active Michigan license(IMLC accepted only if start date is 60+ days out) ERCP required DEA in hand at start Clean malpractice history (required) Local providers preferred (no flight coverage) Ability to comply with reverse billing (Doc Time clock-in/out) Why Bay City, MI?
