The Maintenance Manager will coordinate and direct the daily duties and functions of all maintenance departments and shifts in a manufacturing and distribution environment. This position will lead and mentor supervisors to achieve department goals. This position will also collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Operations leadership to service, troubleshoot, repair, modify, specify, and establish preventative maintenance programs for all machinery, equipment, facilities, and powered industrial vehicle (PIV) needs, to support the manufacturing and distribution processes. Responsibilities: Equipment and Facility MaintenanceDevelop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, and facility infrastructureOversee equipment installations, modifications, and upgradesManage maintenance scheduling to minimize production disruptionsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Team LeadershipSupervisor and mentor maintenance technicians and support staffCoordinate training programs to enhance team skills and safety awarenessConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coachingFoster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement Planning and OperationsCreate and maintain maintenance budgets, including parts inventory and labor costsDevelop work orders, prioritize maintenance requests, and track completionCollaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance during optimal windowsMaintain regulatory compliance for all equipment and systems Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsProficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesKnowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices Leadership AbilityProven experience managing and developing maintenance teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem solving and analytical capabilitiesAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities Physical Requirements and EnvironmentAbility to walk through manufacturing facilities and climb stairsOccasional lifting up to 50 poundsComfort working in various environmental conditions QualificationsAssociates Degree in related technical field, or equivalent work experience, RequiredBachelor's Degree in Maintenance Management, or related field, Preferred5 years' experience in a maintenance field with practical experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, powered industrial vehicle (PIV) and/or HVAC maintenance, RequiredPIV License, or ability to obtain within 60 days, RequiredKnowledge of industrial electronic systems, including 480V, 240V and DC voltages and Industrial hydraulics and fluid power3D Drawing Software such as CAD or Solidworks Work Environment: This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
