Job Description:Considering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.Neurologist - Inpatient & OutpatientPosition Summary The Neurologist provides comprehensive neurological care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.This role includes the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic neurologic disorders, coordination of care across care settings, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and high-quality patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological conditionsProvide inpatient neurology consultations and ongoing management of hospitalized patientsConduct outpatient clinic visits for diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal careInterpret and correlate neurologic examinations, imaging, and diagnostic studiesDevelop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plansManage neurologic emergencies such as stroke, seizures, and altered mental statusCollaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, and ancillary servicesEducate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease managementCoordinate transitions of care between inpatient and outpatient settingsMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health recordParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety activitiesPractice SettingCombination of hospital inpatient service and outpatient neurology clinicSchedule may include consult coverage, clinic sessions, and call responsibilitiesFlexible or structured schedule depending on practice modelPatient PopulationAdult patients with a wide range of neurologic conditionsAcute inpatient cases and chronic outpatient managementQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Neurology residency xijylhu programBoard certified or board eligible in NeurologyEligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the practicing stateDEA registration or eligibilitySkills & CompetenciesBroad clinical expertise across inpatient and outpatient neurologyStrong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilitiesCommitment to patient-centered, evidence-based careAbility to manage varied acuity levels and practice settingsWork EnvironmentHospital and outpatient clinic settingsMultidisciplinary, team-based care modelDiverse neurologic patient population
