This role works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider and supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.The LPN will operate within the scope of their licensure while collaborating across clinical and administrative teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.Provide direct, individualized nursing care under the supervision of an RN or ProviderAssist with patient and family educationSupport the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plansParticipate in team meetings and care coordination discussionsPrepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with policyAssist in emergency situations as neededPrepare patients for examinations, including physical and gynecological examsCollect and document patient information accurately in the EHRPerform in-house lab tests and screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) per protocolSupervise and support Medical Assistants during clinical proceduresMaintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standardsFollow infection control protocols and assist with staff training on equipmentProvide float coverage to other centers as neededAssist with onboarding and training of new team membersMaintain required CEUs and pursue ongoing professional developmentSupport TFHC's mission, vision, and values in all interactionsPerform other duties as assignedGraduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) programActive and unrestricted LPN license in the State of FloridaCurrent BLS certificationMinimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-based environmentHigh attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocolsCommitment to delivering patient-centered careFlexibility to support multiple locations as neededTampa Family Health Centers offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance:Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective after 90 days of employmentFTCA malpractice coverage (company-paid)Life insuranceLong-term disability insurance after one year of employmentPaid Time Off (PTO) plus 7 paid company holidays401(k) with employer contribution after one yearEmployee discount program (travel, entertainment, and more)Opportunities for professional development and career growthAt TFHC, you will be part of a team that values compassion, collaboration, and excellence.
