The RN Clinician works under the supervision of a provider and is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Additionally, the RN Clinician empowers wellness in the patients we are privileged to serve by fostering a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages patient engagement, autonomy, and informed participation in their health journey.Perform comprehensive and focused patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examination, and interpretation of clinical dataDevelop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, loved ones, and the providerAdminister medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and scope of practiceMonitor and document patient responses, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in conditionProvide direct care for acute conditions including STIs, chronic conditions including HIV, and preventative services like PrEP and annual care visits.Ensure infection prevention and control standards are maintainedCoordinate with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and other team members to ensure continuity and quality of careCommunicate effectively with patients, loved ones, and providers regarding care plans and progressProvide health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention counselingParticipate in quality improvement initiativesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of an employee for this job.
