The Regional Manager assists in directing and supervising activities to provide comprehensive patient care and services to assigned Outpatient Rehab Clinics in their Region. Responsible for reporting the overall operations of clinics to Regional Director. Works with administration, staff and other managers to develop systems and procedures necessary for operations, and provides training, information, and support required by employees to solve problems and accomplish the goals and objectives of the program. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Regional Director in clinic oversight by managing operations and staffing for assigned facilities.Monitor statistical reports for assigned facilities and communicate with Regional Director in a timely manner.Maintains facility schedules to ensure adequate open evaluation slots.Review and approve time sheets for staff in assigned region on a bi-weekly basis.Projects current and future staffing needs and participate in the recruiting and on-boarding of new employees.Participate in weekly manager's meeting as neededConducts facility site visits on a regular basis to monitor performance and operations of facilities and staff.Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments/employees and provide input on organizational initiatives, strategies and events.Provide input and make recommendations for continuous improvement on an on-going basis.Serve as a point of contact for facilities within region during emergency situations. PHYSICAL AND SENSORY DEMANDS: Must be able to sit for up to ninety minutes at a time. Able to stand for thirty to forty-five minutes consecutively. Must be able to use hands/fingers to manipulate dials on machines. Must have the ability to occasionally stoop/bend, squat, crouch, kneel and reach above shoulder level. Must be capable of tactile sensation as it relates to feeling for muscle spasms, texture and skin temperature. Must have the ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation and ability to hear call bells. Must be capable of seeing as it relates to general vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
