Are you an experienced litigation secretary interested in a full-time contract position in Century City, CA? If you enjoy a flexible schedule, this position is for you. Our client, a law firm, is seeking an experienced litigation secretary to provide high-level legal support to a team of attorneys. The right candidate is professional, tech savvy and able to handle multiple priorities and work in an organized, efficient manner. The successful candidate will effectively manage all aspects of the professional responsibilities of the assigned attorneys. This position is full time hours and long term temporary position. Duties & Responsibilities/u2022 An experienced litigation legal secretary with 5+years of experience is required. Coordination of discovery shells, creation of legal documents as well as the editing, proofreading, and processing of legal documents upon request of assigned attorneys, including correspondence, memoranda, discovery, MSJ, pleadings, or other practice specific documents/u2022 Strong experience with state and federal e-filing (both paper & electronic), manual calendaring (outlook), supporting 4 to 5 attorneys. Preference is defense litigation, TOA/TOC, collaborating with staff regarding Administrative Support for paralegals and attorneys. /u2022 Assists with overflow work and other special projects as assigned./u2022 Knowledge of Outlook, Compu law, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Qualifications:/u2022 5+ years of solid litigation secretary experience/u2022 Strong experience with state/federal e filing, calendaring, TOA/TOC.Compensation and BenefitsBenefits include-medical$35-38 per hour 100% onsite Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hourSearch managed by: Donnell Murray Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
