Volt is immediately hiring for a Junior Supply Chain / Purchasing Administrator for a large aerospace manufacturing company located in Huntington Beach. This is a great opportunity for graduates with their degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration field looking to start their career in Supply Chain or Purchasing. As Junior Supply Chain Purchasing Administrator you will:Conducting purchasing related duties on a daily to support operations team. Send out RFQ for bidsPrepare data packages for RFQSend out Open Order Reports to SuppliersHighlight any problem areas and reports to Procurement Team LeaderGenerate effective communication, good relationships, and a positive image with suppliers and co-workers promoting courtesy, objectivity and fairnessLiaise with planners to control scheduling of parts to ensure stock levels meet demands while staying within stock level buffersReview Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)/Withhold tags written against suppliers and relays suchinformation to them with corrective actionUpdate suppliers with engineering changes and drawingsThis is a full time opportunity. Position is temp, possible temp to hire for the right person. The ideal candidate will have: 0-1 years of experience in related field and /or have a completed Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or Supply ChainExcellent communication skillsStrong computer and MS Office skillsSomeone very motivated to gain experience in supply chain or purchasing with the manufacturing industry Schedule Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm Pay Rate: 21.00-25.00Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
