R&D Setup

This candidate will be a highly skilled professional, with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. In order to excel in this role, you will also have to possess in-depth knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques that are emerging in the industry. Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models 혠 Perform complex set-ups including creating CNC Programs, take a part from print to first piece 혠 Input the product design into the computer modeling software 혠 Decipher CMM Printouts and apply correct adjustments to keep part in spec 혠 Build basic fixtures for production 혠 Choose and load the correct cutting tools for the job 혠 Adjust machine settings to desired specifications 혠 Setup work area for efficient material flow 혠 Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, quality control or others to resolve machining problems and optimize programs and tooling 혠 Complete gage room documentation for first piece approval 혠 Possess a complete knowledge of machine tool and control functions 혠 troubleshoot problems in manufacturing 혠 Train employees to operate CNC equipment and set-up basics 혠 Complete or update setup instructions and/or work instructions, tooling sheets, etc.
