This is an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise in a high-tech, hands-on environment with full travel support and competitive compensation.What You'll Be DoingYou will support mechanical assembly of new-build jet engines and may assist with rebuild/overhaul projects. This is a high-skill, non-repetitive role where every project is unique.Key Responsibilities:Execute sub-assembly and final assembly of jet engines using BOMs and tool listsWork from paper-based and computer-based documentationUse manual and powered hand tools, including pre-set torque wrenchesOperate hoists and pallet jacks to move engine componentsAlternate between bench work and suspended assembly stationsPerform self-inspections and peer inspections using provided checklistsFollow all safety, quality, and ITAR compliance requirementsTools & Work EnvironmentManual and power-assisted hand toolsTorque wrenches (specs provided)Hoists and pallet jacksClimate-controlled indoor facilityVariety of tasks and workstations dailyMinimum Requirements3+ years of mechanical assembly experienceAbility to read and follow BOMs, torque specs, and detailed instructionsComfortable with standing/sitting for extended periodsDocumentation required for ITAR compliancePreferred BackgroundU.S. Military Veterans with powerplant maintenance experienceValid A&P license holdersDiesel mechanics or those with heavy mechanical experienceFamiliarity with aviation inspection/maintenance protocolsWhy You Should ApplyBe part of the team building the future of flight!
