This exciting and challenging position will play a pivotal role in the production of vital biopharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals in the manufacturing department, ensuring the smooth running of all operations. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative, and scientific environment.Responsibilities:As the Director of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for the following:1. Overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, including drug product manufacture, large molecule processing, fill finish operations, and aseptic procedures.2. Ensuring adherence to all regulatory guidelines, including FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).3. Leading and managing a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficiency and quality in the production process.5. Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance manufacturing operations and meet organizational goals.6. Handling Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADC) and monoclonal antibodies (mAb) production, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.7. Identifying and mitigating potential risks in the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality and safety.8. Providing technical leadership and expertise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.9. Managing the budget for the manufacturing department, ensuring cost-effective operations.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the role of Director of Manufacturing - Biopharmaceuticals will have the following qualifications:1. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field. Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) are highly desirable.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.3. Extensive knowledge and experience in drug product manufacturing, large molecule processing, fill finish operations, and aseptic procedures.4. Proven experience in handling ADC and mAb production.5. Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of FDA regulations and GMP.6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals.7. Excellent strategic planning and decision-making skills.8. Strong communication and presentation skills.9. Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.10. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in the manufacturing process.
