Seize this opportunity to help our practice excel and make a difference! Responsibilities Assist the Medical Director with the administrative aspects of the clinic and the daily work of physicians. Anticipates needs by gathering records, reports, correspondence or other specific information. Serve as a liaison between Physicians/Providers and staff. Direct, supervise, and coordinate the administrative, financial, clinical, and surgical operations. Manage personnel matters in collaboration with the Human Resources department. Ensure the efficient functioning of all offices and oversee system management. Continuously review factors affecting revenue and expenses, taking necessary corrective action to align expenses with the objectives set by the doctors. Assist in planning and coordinating both short-term and long-term goals and implementation strategies. Establish and maintain purchasing contracts to ensure the economic procurement of supplies and equipment. Participate in meetings with vendors to renegotiate contracts and analyze areas for potential reductions in overhead costs, physician case costing, and supply back orders and recalls, ensuring quality performance and cost containment. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Electronic Medical Records system as a superuser to provide maximum support for clinics and providers. Oversee schedule design and implementation. Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork. Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards established by The Joint Commission, and licensing requirements. Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems as the designated Safety Officer. Coordinate and collaborate with legal representatives on business development, practice issues, medical claims, and risk management. Assist with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement efforts, including analytics and monitoring measures related to these areas. Organize hospital call and vacation schedules for Physicians. Maintain professional relationships with hospital organizations. Management of all satellite offices Oversee capital equipment purchases and the re-sale of equipment that is no longer in use. Skills Bachelor's degree in either Business Administration or Health Administration. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in medical office management. Proven leadership and management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse healthcare teams. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning capabilities. Knowledge of NextGen EMR preferred. Joint Commission or accreditation experience is required.
