Since 1969, we've led the industry in developing innovative technologies for recycling scrap into high-quality steels that are all around us, from bridges and buildings to cars and appliances.Short Description Pay Range: $19.91 - $24.20/hr depending on experience. Profit sharing and ROA bonus eligable. Synchronize and coordinate outbound finished goods and provide clerical assistance to Accounts Payable, Contracts, and Shipping. Basic Job Functions: Must adhere to Nucor safety programs and standards. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor vision and values. Schedule deliveries with trucking/jobsites and maintain organized records Handle some retail orders: Quoting; Tagging; Preparation of paperwork; Payment collection Preparation (printing) of all drawings for deliveries Support inventory (stock, physical inventories, WIP and tails). Enter and post invoices into the accounts payable system. Scan and email invoices to locations for approval. Code and voucher all purchase order invoices. Answer vendor inquiries regarding payment and communicate with internal personnel to resolve problems. Match paid invoices to check stubs and maintain paid invoices files. Review vendor statements. Coordinate freight invoice entry. Perform month end processes. Communicate/distribute all pertinent Human Resources information to location teammates. Develop exceptional working relationships with other departments, customers and vendors. Backup for other administrative personnel. Perform other duties as assigned.  Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Must have a high school diploma, GED or local/state equivalent   Detailed Selection Criteria: Accuracy and attention to detail are essential Must maintain confidentiality with regard to financial information Excellent communication and organizational skills Pleasant phone manners and exceptional interpersonal skills  Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office software program Two-year degree in accounting   Physical Demands Typical office activities (walking, sitting, standing, bending) Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment Lifting/handling computers and related equipment (typically not more than 25 pounds). Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus Moderate noise level  Special Demands Must be able to work overtime when required
