NOW HIRING: Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) - Home Health Compensation: $40/hr + Mileage | Dallas County, TX Full-Time (Contract to Hire) | 30 Weekly Units (Home Visits) | Field-Based We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join our home health care team in Dallas County, TX . Pay Rate: $40/hour + Mileage Reimbursement Schedule: Full-Time | No On-Call | 30 Units/Week Location: Field-based across Dallas County, TX Benefits: Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment: Health, vision, and dental insurance Life and short-term disability insurance 401(k) with company match (after one year of service) Position Summary The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized therapy care to patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role supports patients in achieving their recovery goals while ensuring compliance with home health care standards and documentation protocols. Key Responsibilities Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as prescribed by the licensed Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic exercises, massage, modalities (traction, heat, cold, light, water, electrical), and mobility techniques. Document patient progress accurately on a daily/weekly basis and submit reports in a timely manner. Apply infection control and universal precautions during all patient care activities. Coordinate scheduling, perform clerical tasks, and maintain communication with clinical leadership. Support patient education, caregiver training, and interdisciplinary coordination. Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payor requirements. Accept clinical assignments within scope of education and competencies. Requirements Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program - Required Active LPTA license in the state of Texas - Required Current CPR certification - Required Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance - Required Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant - Required 1 year experience with Home Health, OASIS, and HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) - Highly Preferred Ability to float and cover home visits across Dallas County - Required Apply Now for Immediate Consideration or Contact Recruiter: Alliston Brown | : 586-710-7944
