Maintenance Technician - Job description Summary:Elite Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join an expanding Clean Energy Manufacturer. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on facility and process equipment, responding to equipment downtime, and supporting various maintenance and engineering projects. This role requires 4-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or 2 years of experience with a recognized trade certification.   Schedule:  Day shift or Night shift currently available for 2-2-3 schedule   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using the CMMS. Respond to equipment breakdowns; diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals. Support installation, relocation, and modification of equipment. Perform testing and calibration of electrical systems and sensors. Conduct repairs to restore equipment to safe and optimal working conditions. Utilize lockout/tagout procedures and follow safety regulations. Document all work and ensure accuracy of CMMS records. Provide input to improve preventive and predictive maintenance plans. Conduct equipment condition audits and report findings. Assist with identifying and cataloging critical spare parts. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures. Contribute to continuous improvement activities and lean initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen). Support environmental compliance by following proper material handling protocols. Mentor and train junior technicians or apprentices. Collaborate with engineering to resolve persistent equipment or process issues. Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability for PLCs, servo drives, and robotic systems. Proficient in reading schematics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic). Basic fabrication or welding skills preferred. Familiar with SCADA systems and diagnostic tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS software. Experience with calibration, documentation, and technical reporting. Education and/or Experience: 4-5 years of maintenance experience, or: 2+ years with relevant trade certification (309A Electrician, 433A Industrial Mechanic). Prior experience in a manufacturing setting required.
