Job Title: Warehouse AssociateLocation: Gates, NYJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in a temp-to-perm role, offering long-term growth potential. In this position, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to operational efficiency.Shift & Pay: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18 - 19 per hourKey Responsibilities: Receiving & Inspection: Verify and document incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision to meet shipping deadlines. Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts, assist with stock replenishment, and maintain accurate records. Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and easily accessible. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment. System Utilization: Use SAP/ERP systems to track and manage inventory. Shipping Coordination: Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping processes is a plus.Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required. Forklift Certification: Must be certified or willing to obtain certification. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and basic proficiency in MS Office. Communication: Effective communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
