In this role, you will provide legal counsel and representation to homeowner associations, condominium boards, and community associations. You'll advise on governance, compliance, dispute resolution, contract matters, and enforcement of governing documents.Why join us?✨ Competitive salary and performance bonuses✨ Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits✨ 401(k) with company match✨ Flexible work schedule with hybrid options✨ Professional development support and CLE reimbursement✨ Collaborative, supportive team cultureJob DetailsResponsibilities✅ Provide legal advice to HOA and condominium boards on governance, fiduciary duties, and compliance with Washington state laws✅ Draft and review governing documents, amendments, resolutions, and policies✅ Assist in the interpretation and enforcement of CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions), bylaws, and rules✅ Represent associations in dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, and litigation✅ Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and service providers✅ Advise on assessment collections and delinquency matters, including foreclosure proceedings✅ Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations affecting community associations✅ Conduct board training, workshops, and presentations as neededQualifications✔ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school✔ Active membership in the Washington State Bar✔ 3+ years of experience in HOA, real estate, or community association law (strongly preferred)✔ Excellent knowledge of Washington's HOA statutes and regulatory environment✔ Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills✔ Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize deadlines✔ Experience in litigation or dispute resolution (preferred but not required)✔ Commitment to client service and relationship managementInterested in hearing more?
