Assembler - Automotive SeatingLocation: Clinton Township, MIPay Rate: $15.00/hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMOverview:Nesco Resource is currently seeking Assemblers for a leading global automotive company specializing in performance and comfort seating systems. This organization delivers high-quality seating solutions for commercial vehicles, OEMs, and the aftermarket. From concept to production, their innovative approach spans research, design, engineering, and manufacturing.Position Summary:As a Seat Assembler, you will play a vital role in the production process, assembling automotive seating units using various tools and equipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities: Assemble complete automotive seating systems and components. Rotate through various workstations to gain proficiency in all production tasks. Identify and report any defective products and prevent their progression in the production line. Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with company standards. Replenish materials and supplies to support continuous workflow. Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality of parts and finished products. Use pneumatic hand tools and operate assembly fixtures. Perform manual tasks including walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs repeatedly), bending, pulling, and pushing. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Accurately follow written and verbal instructions. Maintain production documentation and statistical process control charts as needed. Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions immediately. Exercise the authority to halt production in the event of safety or quality concerns. Support additional tasks or duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and quality. Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills. Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required. Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
