Industrial Maintenance Technician

Description :  Industrial Maintenance TechnicianResponsibilities: Understand control schematics This position requires skills in the field of Industrial Maintenance Tech with an emphasis on drives and motor controllers, and industrial electronics Inspect, repair, install, and maintain control systems and equipment in an industrial setting Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth work operations Assemble components Conduct inspections to identify control issues and recommend solutions Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting and repairing control malfunctions Document repairs by completing forms as applicable Maintain a safe and clean work area Ensure compliance with safety regulations Skills/Qualifications Previous experience working as a Maintenance Tech in a manufacturing company Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge HS Diploma or GED ExperienceExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technicial Minimum of 1 year of Control experience required Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, and technical manuals Know the basic function of PLC's, Inverters and Drives Know difference between 480v / 120v / 24v AC power Know difference between AC power & DC power Positively identify colors of wire and size per AWG Trouble shooting equipment repair/maintenance Experience with plumbing, pneumatic and air conditioning preferred Own tools required Able to stand, kneel for extended periods Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
