Then we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Permanent Operations Supervisor for our Manufacturing division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, and ensuring the manufacturing process meets the company's quality standards and customer demands. This role is a critical part of our team, and we are looking for someone who is dedicated, proactive, and ready to make a significant impact on our company's operations.Responsibilities:As an Operations Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:1. Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing process, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are upheld.2. Implement and maintain Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements, reduce operational costs, and increase efficiencies.3. Manage and lead a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing, motivated workforce.4. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.5. Collaborate with other departments (such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain) to resolve any issues that may affect production schedules or product quality.6. Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols.7. Monitor equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed to minimize downtime.8. Analyze production data, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvements to senior management.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Operations Supervisor role will have the following qualifications:1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.3. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent, with proven experience in implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve operational goals.5. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control principles.6. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strong ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.8. Proficient in using production planning and inventory management software.9. Strong commitment to health and safety, with a proven track record of promoting a safe work environment.10.
