CNC OperatorLocation: Youngstown, OHHours: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available, preference given to candidates that have open availability.Pay: $20/hourThis is a contract to hire positionDescription:Set up, operate, or tend CNC machines to mill, plane, shape, groove, or profile metal or plastic work pieces.Duties: Performs all assigned machine shop operations Regularly performs milling, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee Remove workpieces from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specifications, using measuring instruments such as microscopes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers. Move cutters or material manually or by turning handwheels, or engage automatic feeding mechanisms to mill workpieces to specifications.
