Position Overview:The Human Resources position will play a key role in managing core Human Resources functions, streamlining operations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires someone who is both strategic and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance empathy and accountability. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Administration: Process weekly payroll. Ensure all managers review and approve timecards in a timely manner. Garnishments are automated, but attention to accuracy is crucial. Benefits Coordination: Oversee 401(k) and insurance-related wage issues. Play a lead role in annual insurance renewals and work with vendors to maintain competitive benefit offerings. Operational Excellence: Drive efficiencies within the Human Resources department. Develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures that strengthen company operations. Ensure team-wide buy-in by holding employees accountable in a respectful, non-authoritarian manner. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with our firm to meet performance targets and expectations. Regularly report on key Human Resources metrics and contribute to long-term strategic planning. Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, offering Human Resources support that aligns with our company culture and objectives. Ensure compliance with labor laws and other Human Resources regulations, minimizing risk and supporting a safe, inclusive workplace. Support the evolution of the company's Human Resources strategy through innovation, communication, and results-oriented execution. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Prior experience in a Human Resources and payroll. Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and policy development. Ability to work independently and with a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
