Mechanical Assembly Technician

General Information Mechanical Assembly Technician Bedford, OH $19-$22/hour based on experience 1 st shift 7am-330pm, Monday - Friday Contract to Hire opportunity As the Mechanical Assembly Technician you will be essential in developing a quality product. Ideal candidates should have a background working with sheet metal and the assembly of machinery. Duties/Responsibilities General sheet metal assembly. Ability to reach and interpret assembly drawings and prints. Use of basic hand and power tools (drills, impact wrenches, etc.) Ability to operate cranes. Accurate use of a tape measure. Skills/Qualifications Previous experience as a mechanical assembler in the manufacturing industry. Understanding of metal properties and machinery. Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to stand for the entirety of shift. High school diploma or equivalent Will be subject to pre-employment drug and background screening.
