Nesco Resource is hiring a Receiving Clerk for a logistics company in Canton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in clerical work within a warehouse setting. Location: Canton, MI Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday (must be open to OT) Pay Rate: $16.50/hr Job Duties: Coordinate paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments with third-party trucking companies. Monitor order status using both internal and external tracking systems. Verify and check outbound customer orders using scanners and warehouse tools. Accurately enter data into systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Interact with truck drivers to confirm deliveries and ensure documentation is complete. Support inventory accuracy, returns processing, and damage control procedures. Follow all safety guidelines and work efficiently to meet daily deadlines. Perform additional administrative and warehouse support tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient computer skills required, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to use PCs, scanners, calculators, and other warehouse technology. Typing speed of 35 WPM preferred. Must have excellent attendance and be open to working overtime. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of clerical experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics environment required.
