Human Resource ManagerLocation: Remote (within 2 hours of South Bend, IN)Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience Overview:We're seeking an experienced, strategic Human Resource Manager to join our leadership team. This role will oversee a team of four, partner with executive management, and drive HR initiatives across the organization. This is a remote position, but proximity to South Bend is required for in-person union negotiations and high-level investigations. Key Responsibilities: Lead labor relations strategy including union contract negotiations, grievance resolutions, and collective bargaining efforts. Manage and mentor a 4-person HR team, fostering collaboration and development. Update and improve employee handbook, policies, and procedures in alignment with current best practices. Collaborate with executive leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives and process improvements. Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and associates on complex employee relations matters. Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in union labor relations and contract negotiations. Proven experience managing HR teams and supporting employees at all levels. Strong communicator with an outgoing, collaborative approach-must fit well with a dynamic leadership team.
