Job Title: Production Associate-Print Operations IShift: 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Monday-Friday & Saturdays As Needed)Location: DFW Airport, TX 75261Pay Rate: $18hr.Position Overview:Under direct supervision, the Production Associate will set up and operate machines, completing various tasks in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, while maintaining a positive working environment. The role involves performing basic functions across the Shipping, Black and White Production, and Color Production departments.Key Responsibilities:Shipping: Process sales literature orders, including: Pulling and packaging required literature as per order specifications. Shipping orders via UPS or LTL. Posting orders in SAP upon completion. File sales literature order paperwork according to established procedures. Receive and inspect incoming shipments from couriers, verifying items against shipment records and checking the condition of products. Stock incoming products based on procedures. Assist with inventory cycle counts. Verify identification and quality of products. Box and label completed orders as per specifications. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for manufacturing shipments. Operate a forklift to unload trucks, store inventory, or move finished goods to warehouse locations. Black & White Production: Submit and release orders to the correct print queue for production. Add consumable supplies, clear jams, and unload presses. Safely operate binding equipment, including: Cutter Folder Shrink Wrapper Coil Binder Accurately complete kitting orders as per specifications. Complete all required production paperwork based on established procedures. Verify identification and quality of products. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Lift up to 60 pounds repetitively. Complete all other tasks assigned by the management team. Color Production: Submit and release orders to the correct print queue for production. Add consumable supplies, clear jams, and unload presses. Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Forklift certification may be required. Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts.
