The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and driving sales while maintaining an exceptional level of customer service. Is your background a match?3-5+ years of sales experience for a golf manufacturer or the retail side looking to move to the brand sideProficient in MS Office / retail management software and comfortable learning new systemsMust have a network/ book of business in the NE region (NY, NJ, CT, PA, VT, NH)Passion for golf and/or sports is a mustProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationshipsStrong business acumen with a problem-solving attitudeExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesFamiliarity with the latest industry trends and sales best practicesExcellent cold calling skills with strong phone etiquetteMinimum GED but Bachelor's degree is preferredWhat will you be doing?Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the NE regionEstablish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accountsLead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet or exceed sales targetsKeep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mixProvide the necessary support to distributors and accounts to enable them to generate leads and close new dealsMonitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvementsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecastsContribute as an individual contributor by aggressively pursuing sales leads by cold calling, attending events, and utilizing existing networksMaintain high standards of customer service within the team to ensure client satisfaction and cultivate long-term relationshipsInterested in hearing more?
