A book of business is not required but welcome. We are seeking experienced attorneys with substantive experience defending employers across a wide range of single plaintiff employment-related disputes and administrative charges. This practice is set apart from their competitors due to a genuine commitment to professional growth and well-being, energetic atmosphere, schedule flexibility, and sustainable work practices.Core responsibilities for this position include: Drafting substantive motions including motions to dismiss and summary judgments Preparing compelling oppositions to a variety of motions Investigating and analyzing liability and damages to develop effective case strategies Conducting legal research Preparing discovery requests/responses Taking/defending depositions Representing clients in court, hearings, trial, and alternative dispute resolutionThe ideal candidate is an innovative problem solver with strong written and oral advocacy skills.
