With an annual revenue of approximately $70 million, this company combines the stability of a seasoned builder with the close-knit culture of a regional firm.Description Lead and manage all phases of construction for a 100,000 sq ft ground-up K-12 or higher education facility from preconstruction through project closeoutDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and logistics plans in coordination with the project team and stakeholdersOversee and direct on-site activities, ensuring work is performed in compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality expectationsManage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely communication and resolution of issuesCoordinate and lead project meetings, including OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) and subcontractor meetingsEnsure proper documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports, is maintained throughout the project lifecycleMonitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and identify potential cost-saving opportunitiesProactively identify and mitigate potential risks and delays to maintain project timelinesEnsure compliance with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulationsFoster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork on the job siteProfile10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a commercial general contractorProven track record of successfully managing ground-up projects ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 sq ft, ideally in the education or public sectorStrong understanding of all phases of construction, from preconstruction to closeoutProficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Autodesk BuildOSHA 10-Hour Certification (minimum requirement); OSHA 30 is a plusExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectivelyDemonstrated ability to maintain project schedules and budgets while ensuring high-quality and safe job site operationsSkilled in reading and interpreting construction documents, contracts, and technical specificationsFamiliarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and inspection requirementsSelf-driven and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering successful outcomesA degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plusJob OfferBase salary up to $135kThe company pays $500 a month to cover the employees health, dental, and vision expenses401(k) programDiscretionary bonuses dependent on the invididuals overall preformance and responsibilitiesCompany Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance + company credit card to cover fuel and project related expenses 5 weeks PTOMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
