Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team and take full responsibility for managing job sites from start to finish.Client DetailsOur client is a growing, dynamic, small-scale commercial general contractor with projects that range from retail and office fit-outs to restaurant build-outs and light structural renovations. Our client is known for their attention to detail, hands-on approach, and commitment to delivering quality work on time and on budget.DescriptionOversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects (typically under $5M in value)Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveriesMaintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA and local regulationsEnforce project schedules and proactively solve conflicts or delaysRead and interpret construction drawings, scopes of work, and specificationsConduct daily jobsite walkthroughs and report progress to project managerEnsure quality control and adherence to contract documentsCommunicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and vendorsMaintain daily logs, photos, and field reports using project management softwareProfile5+ years of experience as a superintendent or foreman on commercial projectsProven experience working in New York City with knowledge of DOB regulations and permittingStrong understanding of construction means and methodsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficient with project management tools (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)OSHA 30 Certification (required)Job OfferCompetitive salary (based on experience)Paid time off and holidaysPotential for bonuses based on project performanceA tight-knit team environment with opportunities for growthMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
