Directs the delivery administrative and operational assistance designed to promote revenue growth, productivity, and exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. Provides team members with the appropriate training, tools, and direction. Responsibilities/Duties: Challenges team members in providing exceptional support to customers. Directly supervises employees, carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Takes responsibility for departmental utilization of corrective action forms and charting Operates inventory control software (GP) and spreadsheet application (Excel). Monitors production orders and expedites delivery per customer requests. Serves as liaison with manufacturing, quality assurance, and shipping personnel on production orders. Answers sales calls. Receives, codes, and processes new customer orders and change orders. Prepares all documents for domestic and international shipments including pro-forma invoices. Calculates, enters, prints, verifies, and distributes invoices. Ensures proper billing of freight and special charges. Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information or resolve customer disputes. Maintains files of all documentation. Aid in the development and implementation of Food Safety Fundamentals and Food Safety Plan as outlined in the BRC system. Has the authority to take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the BRC system. Sends invoices daily to customers for orders shipped Process credit cards Review general ledger accounts before posting daily invoices. New accounts set up Responsible for price/promo sheets and entering discounts Sales support Send out monthly broker reports Updating consumer response log Sends ASN notifications to meet customer requirements Ensures an efficient training program is in place, which includes written documentation of competencies necessary to be successful at the job. Process orders for company products and services, expedite and coordinate flow of work within or between internal departments, and reviews agreements or proposed agreements for conformity to company rates, rules, and regulations. Qualifications: Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously. A process thinker seeking productivity and exceptional service. Customer centric.
