The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of business operations and regulations. This role requires a deep comprehension of commercial contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, and public company experience. This position will allow the successful candidate to work across various departments, providing legal guidance and strategy on a range of topics, including contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.2. Ensure all company operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.3. Provide support on corporate governance matters and public company requirements.4. Identify legal risks and propose alternative strategies to mitigate those risks.5. Collaborate with different departments to ensure that contracts are accurate and reflect company policies.6. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.7. Provide support to the company on contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.2. Must be a member in good standing of a State Bar.3. Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a corporate attorney with experience in a public company.4. Extensive experience in commercial contract drafting.5. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.6. Proven experience in regulatory compliance.7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.10. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.11. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.12.
