Job Title: Sales Manager - Truss ManufacturingLocation: Serving North Carolina Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: General Manager Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in the truss manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building materials, construction processes, and the residential and commercial housing market. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and cultivating strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and developers.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed company goals for revenue, market share, and profitability.Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and multifamily construction markets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and industry partners.Manage, mentor, and train a team of sales representatives or account managers.Collaborate with the design, production, and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project execution.Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to senior management.Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, pricing, and technological advancements in truss systems.Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5 years of sales experience in the truss industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Knowledge of truss systems, structural components, and construction industry standards (preferred).Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with builders, framing contractors, or lumberyards.Understanding of design software like MiTek, Alpine, or similar truss design programs.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
