Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Construction Location: OC & LA Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout Us: We are a fast-growing general contractor specializing in ground-up multifamily construction projects ranging from mid-rise podium developments to garden-style communities. With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to quality, we're looking to expand our team with passionate, detail-oriented professionals.Position Summary: The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in the successful execution of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of construction processes.Responsibilities:Assist with daily project coordination and administrationMaintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change ordersHelp develop and track project schedules and budgetsCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultantsSupport the procurement process and material trackingConduct site walks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsHelp prepare monthly pay applications and project reportingAttend project meetings and assist in resolving field and design issuesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)2 years of construction experience, preferably in multifamilyProficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and MS Office SuiteStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam-oriented with a strong work ethicBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth and career developmentApply Today: If you're ready to take the next step in your construction career with a company that values quality, teamwork, and professional growth, we'd love to hear from you.
